Jua by Agar™ was launched to satisfy the increasing demand for quality room amenities for hotels, villas, and resorts in Kenya and beyond. It is a line of cosmetics using aloe as a base and scented with pure essential oils from Kenya and East Africa. This line is distributed in both bottles and liters to hospitality and wellness establishments looking for quality amenities with a story, the story of artisanal products made in collaboration with pastoralist women from arid lands, aiming to create empowerment and livelihood diversification. To sustain production and broaden our impact, we have set up 100- acre commercial aloe plantation -all on community owned land and the project is being carried out by local organized, well trained, and equipped groups.

We are also a one stop shop for hospitality structures with spas and wellness centers; supplying them with 15+ types of pure locally made essential oils to choose from for their preferred treatments. Base oils such as Moringa oil and baobab oil are made available to complement the different essential oils and above that we provide a complementary aroma therapy guide ensuring a seamless experience for therapists and masseuses alike. For establishments that prefer ready-to-use blends, we also offer expertly pre-mixed blends tailored for various treatment needs.
